“Insanus Et Humatica”: These words echo across the great dimension of time, reaching out to those who would listen. 

You’ll find that “your new favourite band*” is sometimes serious, sometimes jovial, sometimes manic, but always deliberate, always original. These pioneers of electronic mischief are once more allowing their fans an insight into the inner workings of their minds and the messages they bring. 

The album opens with the tongue-in-cheek Monkey Boot Boy, the story of a young tearaway desperate to find his own niche in a world that would impose conformity. Next comes The Humatica, a mechanical man built by human hands, doomed to run indefinitely whilst its creator falls to the folly of a self-made mass extinction. Whether it’s their foot stomping single, I Think We Should Take Care of You, or the slow and sinister, I’m One, these Salfordian Sirens ensure that each track questions expectations. They make sure that each track has a distinct story that is desperate to be told.
